Dr. Josephine Taiye Bolaji

Dr. Josephine Taiye Bolaji is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Textile Division of the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University located in Tallahassee, Florida, USA. She earned her PhD in Textile and Apparel Science in 2023 from the University of Alberta, Edmonton Canada. Previously, she received her BSc. in 2012 and MSc in 2016 in Textile Science and Technology from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. With over 12 years of expertise and experience both in academia and industry, Dr. Bolaji’s research interest lies in the use of human anthropometrics, textile material testing, modification, and characterization to engineer better performing personal protective clothing both at the fabric and garment levels to develop products with improved fit, comfort, and functionality. Her work contributes immensely to product development, standard development, experimental designs, human factors, and wear assessment.
