Bosede Odunola Adejugbe

Dr. Bosede O. Adejugbe is a demographer and social researcher with over a decade of experience in demography and social and health inequality. She holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and is currently a Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice at Utah State University. Her interdisciplinary research spans sexual and reproductive health, chronic illness, disability, and structural health disparities among racial populations in the U.S.
Dr. Adejugbe has received fellowships, scholarships, and research awards. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at high-profile conferences such as the Population Association of America (PAA), Pacific Sociological Association (PSA), the Family Demography in Africa and Post-2015 Development Agenda in Johannesburg, South Africa, among others. She also serves as a reviewer for esteemed journals including Population Research and Policy Review, the International Journal of Public Health, and Journal of Adolescent Health.
Her professional memberships include the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP), the Union for African Population Studies (UAPS), and the Institute of STEM Innovation and Excellence (ISIE). She is currently a member of the Family Planning/Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Thematic Panel of the Union for African Population Studies (UAPS).
Dr. Adejugbe is committed to bridging the gap between data-driven research and policy solutions that promote equity in public health and education for marginalized communities.
