Abasiama-Arit Aniche is a dedicated extension professional with interests in sustainable agriculture, food systems, and rural community development. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Education and Human Sciences with a minor in Food Safety from North Carolina State University, USA.
Aniche’s professional background includes service in academic, international research institutions, and development agencies; where she has consistently translated scientific findings from academic settings into practical applications by harnessing and applying culturally sustaining pedagogies, thereby enhancing programming and delivery. Her work highlights the direct connection between evidence-based leadership development and truly sustainable agriculture, food systems, and rural community development, with her findings yielding several peer-reviewed publications.
Aniche is a member of various professional organizations, including the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE), the Association for International Agriculture and Rural Development (AIARD), and the International Leadership Association (ILA).
