Kunlere Alaba Samson
Experience & Activities
Kunlere Alaba Samson is an accomplished educator and scholar with more than twelve years of experience in teaching, leadership, and program development. He currently serves as an Agricultural Science Educator, where he combines environmental science, innovation, and experiential learning to promote sustainable practices among students and within their communities.
His academic interests lie at the intersection of education, restorative justice, and environmental sustainability. As a graduate student specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration, Kunlere focuses on building inclusive learning environments that encourage dialogue, accountability, and community engagement. His commitment to student success and social responsibility is reflected in his leadership within diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, as well as his service as a Senator-at-Large in student government of University of Illinois, Springfield, USA.
Beyond the classroom, he has designed and led educational outreach programs at the Illinois State Fair’s Conservation World, developed makerspace projects that connect agricultural and environmental science, and contributed to public history education through his internship at the Abraham Lincoln Tomb.
Kunlere’s academic and professional work demonstrate a consistent pursuit of excellence, innovation, and equity in education. His philosophy centers on the transformative power of learning and the essential role of educators in fostering sustainable community development and civic engagement.
