Olumide Olumuyiwa Oguntolu, is an award-winning architectural designer, educator, and researcher whose work operates at the nexus of sustainable design, social equity, and architectural innovation. A Master of Architecture graduate from Ball State University with highest distinction, he now serves as an Adjunct Professor at the same institution, teaching design studio and Social & Environmental Justice Class a course on Disability Justice Design that frames architecture as an essential tool for human rights and community dignity.

His professional expertise is demonstrated through a diverse portfolio, from leading the construction of high-end projects in Nigeria to playing a key role in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon-winning Alley House, a net-positive, Passive House-certified affordable home. This commitment to high-performance,community-centric design is further evidenced by his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity in Indianapolis, directly applying his skills to address housing insecurity.

Olumide is a recognized critical voice in the field, having served as a juror for the AIA Mississippi Design Awards,  and contributing to academic governance on the Graduate Education Committee. His research, conducted under Dr. Olon Dotson, focuses on housing affordability and innovative solutions for unhoused populations. As a Fellow, he brings a unique and vital perspective that combines the rigor of an academic, the practicality of a professional, and the forward-thinking ethos of a justice-oriented designer dedicated to building a more sustainable and inclusive world.
