Experience & Activities

Chidinma Imediegwu is a mechanical engineer with a PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where her doctoral thesis focused on electric vehicle power electronics, thermal management, and reliability optimization for high-performance energy systems. Her research advanced the design and validation of robust power electronic packaging through experimental characterization, non-destructive evaluation, and materials-level optimization, with direct relevance to electrification and grid-scale energy goals. She has led federally funded research collaborations supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and NASA, producing peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations spanning power electronics, advanced materials, and smart composite systems.
