Toyib Aremu
Toyib Aremu is completing a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development Policy, Economics, and Governance at the University of Vermont and serves as a co-Principal Investigator on a National Science Foundation research grant on evidence-informed policymaking. His research interest includes understanding the use of science in public policy decision making. Toyib has experience in five sub-Saharan African countries, working within government, private, and international non-governmental organizations using research to proffer solutions to policy-relevant questions. He has academic background both in the natural and social sciences, having completed a bachelor's degree in chemistry, a master's degree in sustainable development practice, and another master's degree in fertilizer science and technology. In his leisure time, he loves to spend time with his toddler son by the beach and listening to interviews granted by people who have had more life experiences than him.
