Abdulateef Oluwakayode Disu is a distinguished technology innovator and fintech leader whose career exemplifies the practical application of STEM principles to solve complex, real-world challenges across Africa. With over fifteen years of experience spanning software engineering, cloud computing, digital security, and payment infrastructure, he has consistently demonstrated the capacity to translate advanced technical knowledge into scalable and impactful solutions. His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to innovation, systems thinking, and technology-driven inclusion.

As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vendy, he leads the vision, strategy, and engineering of an alternative payment gateway designed to enable businesses to accept offline payments across African markets. This work directly addresses infrastructural constraints while expanding access to digital financial services. Prior to this, he founded and led Information Secure Limited, where he designed and deployed transaction control, card management, and multifactor authentication systems adopted by major banks and financial institutions. Notably, his transaction control solution received regulatory endorsement, underscoring its technical rigor and compliance strength.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Abdulateef Disu has contributed extensively to Africa’s innovation ecosystem as a keynote speaker, mentor, and thought leader.
