Dr. Ekene E. Uchenna-Ogbodo is a distinguished professional in environmental and project management, with specialized expertise in disaster risk reduction, flood mitigation, and environmental impact assessment. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Management from the University of Port Harcourt (GPA 3.83) and an MSc in Project Management from the University of New Mexico, combining technical rigor with practical experience in mitigating the impacts of natural disasters.

With a strong background in environmental risk assessment and participatory rural appraisal (PRA), Dr. Uchenna-Ogbodo has led regional projects focused on evaluating flood-prone zones, land-use vulnerabilities, and infrastructure resilience. Her work has directly informed state-level disaster preparedness strategies and environmental policies, helping to reduce community exposure to climate-related hazards such as seasonal flooding, land degradation, and urban water management crises.
