Lukman Ademola Adepoju is a dynamic and highly accomplished Public Health professional and Medical Laboratory Scientist with over 15 years of progressive experience spanning academia, molecular diagnostics, HIV program implementation, and translational research. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health (Toxicology track) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where his research focuses on hepatotropic viral infections and the liver-brain axis in the context of HIV and alcohol exposure. With an outstanding academic record (GPA 3.9/4.0), Lukman brings a rich multidisciplinary background that integrates laboratory science, epidemiology, and advanced molecular techniques.
His research portfolio includes studies on HIV immune response, HIV-HBV co-infection, ethanol-induced liver injury, and the use of data to understand disease trends in resource-limited settings. Lukman is proficient in data analysis using SPSS, R, and Excel, and is skilled in techniques such as PCR, ELISA, gene sequencing, and Western blotting. He has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and actively reviews for reputable journals in global health and molecular medicine.
