Experience & Activities

I am a committed and experienced Specialist Physiotherapist with a strong background in neurological rehabilitation and evidence-based clinical practice. My professional journey spans across Nigeria and the United Kingdom, with current practice at Merseycare NHS Foundation Trust. I specialise in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

My approach is rooted in patient-centred care, focusing on personalised treatment planning, functional mobility, and promoting independence. I am skilled in modifying home environments to support recovery and safety, delivering tailored education to patients and caregivers, and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes. I am also actively involved in mentoring junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants, contributing to their professional development.

I hold a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) and am a Certified Clinical Educator through the University of Liverpool. I have completed a wide range of professional training, including safeguarding adults and children, falls prevention, dementia awareness, infection control, mental health, and resuscitation. In addition, I have a keen interest in research and cross-cultural health, demonstrated through my academic work on the adaptation and validation of the Health Literacy Questionnaire in Yoruba.

With a strong commitment to continuous learning, clinical excellence, and compassionate care, I aim to support individuals in achieving the highest possible quality of life through rehabilitation. I am passionate about making a meaningful impact through physiotherapy and remain dedicated to professional growth and service improvement.
