Experience & Activities
Over 15 years of impactful professional experience as a Business Strategist, Development Manager, and Expansion Manager at various places and capacities. A leader overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring top-notch service delivery as well as operational excellence. As a GIS master’s degree holder, I successfully segued into the career world of Geospatial Analytics. Passionate about solving real-world problems using GIS technologies to create innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and effective strategic planning, and adept at using geoprocessing tools to analyze real-world problems in a bid to find informed solutions.
I have had the opportunity to successfully work on various spatial analysis projects by using my detail orientation, collaboration, analytical, and research skills. To mention a few projects I worked on, I mapped out offshore wind energy farms in the United States and did some site suitability analyses of offshore wind farms within the BOEM-designated lease areas. I have also done some spatial analysis and mapping projects that determined the High Consequence Areas (HCA) around Pipeline Infrastructures within urban and rural areas of Texas, using the PHMSA Classification as a guide. Mapped out storm surge areas along coastal perimeters to determine hazard areas according to their risk levels, using LiDAR and DEM data. Urban change detection analysis and mapping using ERDAS Imagine and ArcGIS Pro software, is one of my niche areas. Used machine learning techniques to identify patterns and trends that are often invisible to humans, leading to better predictions and insights. I have recently co-authored and published two peer-reviewed Journal Articles (renewables – on switchgrass bioenergy).
